AI – Smart Port Transshipment is a research and development project led by DMS LOGISTICS to develop artificial-intelligence models for port transshipment optimization. The project aims to reduce non-productive container movements, improve the allocation of terminal space and resources, reduce congestion and contribute to lowering the carbon footprint of port operations.
The project runs from 2 May 2025 to 30 June 2027. Expected outputs include validated enriched AI models, technical documentation and a final R&D report covering the project’s contribution to sustainable development.This project is co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and supported by Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.Maximum ERDF contribution: €595,132.73, representing 45% of eligible project costs.
