DMS PCS, the open-source Port Community System
One community system for every actor of the port city, built from the DMS code that already runs truck appointments, gates and container tracking in production. Open code, so a port can read it, audit it and own its data.
Built on code in production
Truck appointments (our VBS), gate automation with OCR, container status and EDI already run at DMS. The PCS reuses them as bricks instead of starting from zero.
Open, so the port owns it
The code of the bricks is open: a port, its integrators and its community can read it, audit it and extend it. Who sees which data is decided by consent, item by item.
Developed test-first
Each brick is written test-first and published when its repository opens. This page shows the real status of each brick and is updated as they are delivered.
