Investment in Logistics Park at Dammam’s King Abdulaziz Port
MAWANI and MELDOG, the logistics arm of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), have collaborated on a significant investment exceeding 150 million riyals ($40 million) for the integrated Logistics Park at Dammam’s King Abdulaziz Port.
Omar Hariri, President of the Saudi Ports Authority MAWANI, emphasized the importance of this milestone, aligning with MAWANI’s key role in developing a thriving and sustainable maritime sector. The strategic location of the new logistics park, in close proximity to Jubail Industrial City and major urban centers in the Eastern Region, is expected to enhance logistics operations and support growth.

Recognition and Expansion
In October 2023, MAWANI received the Advanced Port Infrastructure Award at the Landmarks in Logistics Awards 2023 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Additionally, the organization recently signed a land lease contract for the establishment of a logistics zone at Jeddah Islamic Port, covering an area of 54,000 square meters, further solidifying its commitment to expansion and development within the logistics industry.
